Carter (Daniel) House is built.

(ca.) Designed in the Georgian style, it built by the carpenter as a home for his family and located at 19 Putnam Street. It is purchased in 1804 by Thomas Robbins, and may have been incorporated in the adjacent Salem Turnpike Hotel.
